Voice Assistant Commands

When you interact with your virtual assistant, you have to know the context in which you're in to issue the appropriate commands. Apart from the "Global commands" which can be issued at anytime during a phone session, the voice interface is organized in layers as follows:

Main menu commands layer

The main menu level is where you can issue the commands listed in this section. Once you hear Evatel say: "What can I do for you?" in Expert mode, it means that your assistant is ready to take your speech or touchtone command.

Example: You can say: "Check my calendar today" or "Read my new e-mails" at the main menu level to access your calendar or e-mails. But you can't say an e-mail sub-menu command such as "Next" or "Archive" or "Delete".

The sub-menu level is where you can issue the commands specific to the option or service you selected from the main menu layer.

Example: After selecting "Read my E-Mails", you will be at the "E-Mail" sub-menu level where you can say commands such as Delete, Archive or Next to act on the e-mail message being played.

Global commands

The global commands are navigation keywords that can be issued at anytime during a phone session to control call flow.
