Call Log Speech Commands

Your virtual assistant enables you to review your call logs and call back people you called or who called you using speech commands over the phone. You can listen to the details of each call made or received, then decide whether you want to call back that number or listen to the next. The telephone number and caller names are read to you over the telephone using Text-to-Speech (TTS) technology.

You can say or enter one of the following commands from the main menu:

READ MY CALLS LOGS OF {weekday} 8 3

Listening to Call Logs by Phone

You can listen to your call logs (calls made and calls received) directly from the main menu. You may choose to specify the type and date of calls you want to review as follows:

To listen to your last calls received

  • Say: READ MY CALLS RECEIVED
  • or in DTMF mode, enter: (8)

To listen to your last calls made

  • Say: READ MY CALLS MADE
  • or in DTMF mode, enter: (8)

To listen to your calls logs of today

  • Say: READ MY CALL LOGS OF TODAY
  • or in DTMF mode, enter: (8) (1)

To listen to your calls logs of yesterday

  • Say: READ MY CALL LOGS OF YESTERDAY
  • or in DTMF mode, enter: (8) (2)

To listen to your calls logs of a specific day of the week

  • Say: READ MY CALL LOGS OF {weekday}
  • or in DTMF mode, enter: (8) (3)

{weekday} can be any day of the week: Monday, Tuesday, ..., Sunday.

Commands while listening to call logs

While listening to a call log or immediately after, you can say or enter one of the following commands:

To ...Say ...or press
skip to next call in the logs NEXT #
go to previous call in the logs PREVIOUS
replay current call information REPLAY 1
call back the number CALL BACK 8
go to first call in the logs FIRST
go to last call in the logs LAST

Note that if you enter commands such as NEXT while processing the last call in your call logs, Evatel will take you back to the main menu.

Calling People Back from Call Logs

While listening to the call logs, you can decide to call back the phone number being described or go to the next one in the list. The number can be that of a person who called you or someone you called.

While listening to the call log information or immediately after.

To call back the phone number

  • Say: CALL BACK
  • or in DTMF mode, enter: (8) to call back the telephone number.

Evatel will dial the selected telephone number and connect you.

Important Note: If you have the Call Conferencing option and wish to continue your Evatel session after the call, then you must either (a) wait for the other party to hang-up, or (2) press the call termination keys (usually ##) to end the call without ending the session.
