Account Settings

Your new virtual assistant account needs to be configured before1 you can start using its services. Click on the following links to get more details on the different account configuration tasks:

Note that you can configure some user settings by phone using speech commands.

  • User Settings on the Web:Use the Web to set your language, your timezone, edit your voicemail signature, change your PIN, set your phone session preferences and manage your service packages.
  • User Settings by Phone: Use the Virtual Assistant speech portal to record your name and your voicemail greeting, or to change your PIN, or your language. Go to Account Settings on the Phonefor more details.

Record your name by Phone

To complete the setup of your account, you should record the name used by your virtual assistant to greet you when you call and to let people who call you know that they are being transferred to you.
  1. Call your virtual assistant(dial the telephone number given to you after completing your signup).
  2. Login with your User ID and PINif required. Once authenticated, you will be asked to record your name.
  3. Say your name and press (#) when finished.
     

Your Account is Ready to Use

Once you have completed your account creation and configuration on the Web and recorded your name by phone, you are now ready to use your virtual personal assistant services by phone:
  1. Call Evatel at the telephone number given to youwhen you subscribed.
  2. Login with your User IDand PIN.Once authenticated, Evatel will greet you by your name.
  3. Evatel Is ready to take your commands when you hear "What do you want to work with today?" or "What can I do for you?"

Keep Your Account Credentials in a Safe Place. You may need your User ID and PIN each time you want to access your account.
