How to login for a Web or Phone Session?

As a virtual assistant user, you have been given a User IDand PINto access your virtual assistant account on the Web and by phone.

What is the Web address of my Web portal?

The Website URL of your Web portal was sent to you by e-mail together with your credentials when you created your account.  Note that other subscribers may be using a different Web portal to manage their account.

How do I login for a Web session

There are two ways for you to login for a Web session:
  1. E-mail and PIN: Enter your e-mail address as the User IDand your PINas the password, then click Login.
  2. Phone and PIN: Enter your login phone number as your User IDand your PINas the password, then click Login.

How do I logout from my Web Portal session?

To end your Web session, click Logoutand make sure that all windows are closed. Note that the Web portal will automatically log you out after the expiry of your session (10 minutes of inactivity by default).

How to Login by Phone?

After answering your call, your assistant requires your User IDand PINto give you access to your account. You can configure your profile to be automatically identified and authenticated when you call from specific telephone numbers. Go to how to set the Auto-ID and Auto-PIN options.

To login, use your telephone keypad to enter your User ID, then your PINfollowed by POUND(#).

 Calling from an Auto-PIN Phone

You don't have to enter any User IDor PINif you call from a phone that has the Auto-PINoption ("Don't Ask for PIN") enabled. With Auto-PINphones, you are automatically logged in and given access to your mailbox.

Calling from a Call-Back Phone

You don't have to enter any User IDor PINif you call from a phone that has the Call-Backoption enabled. Evatel will call you back immediately on your phone without answering your call to save you any potential charges.  As soon as you answer the call, you will be logged in and given access to your mailbox. The Call-Backoption is equivalent to the Auto-PINoption with Call Backfor more security.

Calling from an Auto-ID Phone

You don't have to enter your User IDif you call from your Auto-ID("Recognize Me") phone. But you have to enter your PINfollowed by POUND(#) to get access to your account.

Calling from an Unknown Phone

If you call from a public phone, you have to enter your User IDand your PINfollowed by POUND(#) to get access to your account.

How do I logout from my phone session?

Say "GOODBYE" or "HANGUP" at anytime or just Hangup the phone to end your phone session. Your virtual assistant will hang up the line and exit.

User Login Situations

I Forgot my PIN

If you have forgotten your PIN, follow the next steps to get your PINby e-mail:
  • Go to your Web portal and click Forgot?
  • Enter your e-mail address then click OKto have your account credentials (User IDand PIN) e-mailed to you.

Remember my User ID

Check this box if you want the Web portal to memorize your User IDand your PINso that you don't have to enter them the next time you want to login from this computer.

Session Expired

For security reasons, your Web session expires if it has been idle for a certain time (10 minutes by default). If this happens, you will be directed to a page indicating "Session expired. Please login again". Simply re-login to resume your session.

Cannot Go Beyond the Web Portal Login Page

You typed in your User IDand PIN, then you clicked Submitbut nothing happens. This problem is usually caused by the Popup Blockerof your Internet Browser when it is enabled. Disable it and try again. The Popup Blocker option can be disabled under Tools on your Internet Explorer.
