Managing your Account Settings
Note that you can change some of your user account settings on the Web and by Phone.
- Account Settings on the Web: Use the Web to set your language, your timezone, edit your voicemail signature, change your PIN, and manage your service packages. Go to Account Settings on the Web.
- Account Settings by Phone: Use the Virtual Assistant speech portal to record your name and your voicemail greeting, or to change your PINor your language. Go to User Settings by Phone.
Managing your User Account Settings on the Web
Go to Configuration then click Personal Information to view and modify your user account settings: name, language, PIN, services, etc.
Changing your PIN
Here are the steps to reset your PIN (What is a PIN?) from the Configuration => Personal Informationpage:
- Click Reset my Phone PIN.
- Enter your current PIN for verification purposes.
- Enter your new PIN and re-type it for confirmation in the appropriate box.
Note that your PIN must be a numeric code of 3 to 10 digits. - Click OK to confirm. Your PINis now changed.
Changing your Language
Here are the steps to change your communication language from the Configuration => Personal Information page:
- Select the new language from the list offered in the I Speak field.
- Click OK to confirm. Your virtual assistant will now communicate with you using your newly selected language.
The language change applies to your Web and speech interfaces.
Changing your Timezone
The virtual assistant adapts your call forwarding schedules, reminders and other time-dependant actions to the timezone of your geographical location. You can use the Web to select the timezonewhere you are located currently or when you are traveling. Here is how you view and change your timezone from the Configuration => Personal Information page:
- Select your timezone from the pull-down list
- Click Submit once finished
Adding a Signature to your Voice E-mails
You can edit the text used as your signature for messages sent by your assistant on your behalf. Here is how you can enter and edit your mail signature from the Configuration => Personal Information page:
- Edit the text for your signature in the My Signature text box
- Click Submit once finished
How to view your bill
You can view the details of your bill and modify your billing information (payment method, credit details)from the Configuration => Personal Information page:
- Click the My Bill button to go to the billing module where you can view your most recent monthly statement and make any any changes to your billing information.
Managing your Service Packages
Go to the Configuration => Service Packagespage to view the service packages to which you are currently subscribed. Your service packages are displayed in a grid showing the name, rate and list of services included for each package.
